Mount Prospect police to discuss stalking
The Mount Prospect Police Department will host a free presentation on the crime of stalking at noon on Saturday, Jan. 14, at the Community Connections Center, 1711 W. Algonquin Road.
Officer Mark Bechtold will explain what criminal stalking is and what resources are available to victims of this crime. January is Stalker Awareness Month.
Refreshments will be served, and free baby-sitting will be available on site. The presentation will be given in both English and Spanish. The entire event is scheduled to go until 2 p.m.
