No mystery who paid for Roskam mailings

A recent Fence Post letter from Bob Sitze concerned two expensive mailings that Congressman Peter Roskam sent to Illinois residents questioning the balanced budget amendment.

I believe Mr. Sitze did not read the small print in the upper left hand corner of the mailing; otherwise, he would know that the whole mailing was paid for by the taxpayers of Illinois, So that is why Rep. Roskam does not care what it cost.

So taxpayers of Illinois, wake up, you are paying for having pictures and Rep. Roskam’s name numerous times in a mailing that you paid for, which if you think of it, it is smart on his part but not smart on ours.

We have to stop wasteful spending on the part of politicians, all politicians.
