GOP’s own interests put before voters’

Regardless of whether you are Republican, Democrat, independent or whether you like or dislike President Obama, its really sickening when one party puts its welfare above its constituents and holds the American people hostage through extortion, coercion and blackmailing its opposition into concession only to protect the interest of PAC funding. Republican Party members have blatantly shown that they don’t care about the consequences and hardships they are imposing on millions of Americans just to win their “gotcha” game of political conniving and deceit.

The GOP agenda became fully known last July 10 on Fox News Sunday, when Bret Baier asked the Republican Senate minority leader, Sen. Mitch McConnell, if he stands by his previous statement that “the single most important thing we want to achieve is for President Obama to be a one-term president.” McConnell confirmed that his goal remains unchanged. It seems the Republican objective is to get rid of Obama at all cost, including hurting even millions more middle-income Americans (who are already hurting) through higher taxes and reduced benefits in a continuing bad economy by playing their political extortion games to make their political opponents look ineffective.

All of Congress is a disgrace and should all be replaced. Looks like the new Tea Party members of Congress are being blamed for this chaos. What had started as an effective voice of the people, the Tea Party was taken over and manipulated by the Republican agenda — only to become Obama bashers.

No matter what good intentions you might have, be very careful whose bed you crawl into. It just might ruin your reputation.
