Woodfield tourism bureau retains accreditation
The Woodfield Chicago Northwest Convention Bureau (WCNCB) has retained its elite status among international destination marketing organizations by earning the prestigious Destination Marketing Accreditation Program designation for 2011-2014.
WCNCB led Illinois by being the first organization to win the designation in 2007. In earning reaccreditation, the WCNCB communicates that it’s committed to industry excellence by demonstrating compliance in 54 mandatory and 33 voluntary standards in 16 core competencies. They include governance, finance, management, human resources, technology, visitor services, group services, sales, communications, membership, brand management, destination development, research/market intelligence, innovation and stakeholder relationships.
