Spice up Sunday with Sueños Latin-Jazz at Gail Borden

Gail Borden Public Library in Elgin offers free Sunday Afternoon Concert to warm up the winter this Sunday, Jan. 8.

Sueños Latin-Jazz performs improvisational music based on the infectious rhythms of the Latin diaspora: Samba, cha-cha, bossa-nova, calypso, mambo, rhumba, tango, cumbia and more. Sueños' CD "Azul Oscuro" has received significant airplay, and its members are among the best jazz musicians in Chicago.

The one-hour performance begins at 2 p.m. in the Community Rooms. Meet the artists and enjoy refreshments after the concert. Free tickets are available at the main library, 270 N. Grove Ave. in Elgin.
