This year’s winners include a reading program at Sanborn School that pairs at-risk first-graders with older reading buddies, and the ongoing maintenance and continued care of a school garden at Jane Addams School. Since 2004, the District Fifteen Educational Foundation/Kathy Buesching Memorial Mini-Grant program has awarded 115 grants totaling more than $170,000.
