Bank robbery reported in Island Lake

On Thursday afternoon, the Island Lake Police Department received a call about an armed bank robbery in town. Police responded to the Wauconda Community Bank branch at 229 E. State Road.

The incident is being investigation by Island Lake police and the FBI. No further details were available.
