Advocate Good Samaritan president named one of 20 leaders who make health care better

HealthLeaders magazine named Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital President Dave Fox to its annual HealthLeaders 20 list, which honors individuals who are positively impacting health care in America.

The December issue features each of the leaders and includes longer versions of their profiles online at http://bit.ly/ssiBlE.

“Determination and a willingness to take a chance are among the qualities we see in our annual HealthLeaders 20 as they set about dedicating their professional lives to making a difference for good in health care,” the magazine states.

Fox was highlighted for his success in improving care through accountability and loyal relationships, including outstanding clinical outcomes propelled by employee, patient and physician satisfaction in the 90th percentile.

Under Fox's direction, Good Samaritan Hospital embarked on a Good to Great journey that has led to national recognition: the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award for performance excellence, the Lincoln Gold Award for the Achievement of Excellence and a place on the 100 Top Hospital and 50 Top Cardiovascular Care Hospital lists.
