Lisle plans electronic recycling event
Lisle will sponsor a free electronic recycling event from 9 a.m. until noon Saturday, Dec. 17, at 4930 Route 53.
In addition to electronics, the village will collect household batteries, hearing aid and camera batteries, cellphones and household appliances such as blenders, microwaves, toasters and alarm clocks. Hazardous waste or electronics containing liquids or other hazardous matter — such as refrigerators, air conditioners or vehicle batteries — will not be accepted.
