Ballerinas share in their teacher’s wedding joy

Jennifer (aka “Miss. Jennie”) Lucchesi Hicks is a popular dance instructor with the Arlington Heights Park District, instructing over 300 students in ballet, jazz, tap and hip hop.

Knowing that her ballerinas would want to see her in her wedding gown on that special day, Miss. Jennie let them know she and the rest of the wedding party would be at North School Park in Arlington Heights, for photos after the wedding ceremony, which was held Sunday, Oct. 9, at the Schram Memorial Chapel in Glenview.

Lots of little dancers showed up to see Miss Jennie and some even came in their ballerina finery.

In the wedding party were three of Miss. Jennie’s pupils: special friends Samantha and Claire Corley and goddaughter Tiana Casazza.
