Coldwell Banker fundraiser nets $10,000
Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage brought some holiday cheer this year. On Dec. 1, the company’s Northwest Region offices hosted a holiday fundraiser. With the help of the agents and community, the benefit successfully raised more than $10,000.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Coldwell Banker Charitable Foundation and their partner Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana. RMHC-CHI provides a “home away from home” to keep families together while their child is receiving medical treatment far from home.
The event co-chairs were Northwest office manager Stephanie Szigetvari and Schaumburg office manager Larry Rowan.
“We strongly believe in giving back to local organizations,” Szigetvari said. “The Ronald McDonald House Charities has such a wonderful initiative in providing warm and inviting housing for families while the children are receiving much needed medical treatment.”
The fundraiser featured silent and live auctions, a 50/50 raffle and music by The Dancing Noodles band. More than 200 people attended the fundraiser, which took place at John Barleycorn in Schaumburg.
“This event not only helps serve the community,” adds Rowan. “It was also a great way to bring all of agents together across the region to network and make new connections.”
“I am very proud of our agents and managers for putting together such a successful event,” exclaims Jeff Polanzi, regional vice president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage. “All of their hard work really paid off.”
