Woodridge police identify homicide victim

Woodridge police this morning identified a man found shot to death in his apartment last week as 32-year-old Gregory Holden.

Officers responding to a report of a man bleeding found the victim about 11 a.m. Thursday in his home on the 2500 block of Meadowdale Lane. He had been shot multiple times, authorities said.

“Preliminary information suggests this is an isolated incident and the general public is not in any danger,” police said in a news release Monday. “No one is in custody at this time, but investigators are aggressively following all possible leads.”
