Chiro One Wellness Centers welcomes Ryan Engstrom, D.C. to Chiro One of Libertyville

Chiro One Wellness Centers is proud to welcome Ryan Engstrom, D.C. to the Chiro One family. Serving as Chiropractic Director of Chiro One of Libertyville, Engstrom is excited to share the healing power of chiropractic with the Northwestern Suburban community and looks forward to educating and serving individuals and families on discovering their full health potential. Originally hailing from Davenport, IA, Ryan Engstrom, D.C. currently lives in Chicago. Engstrom earned his Bachelors of Arts, (B.A.) degree in Business Administration from Augustana College in Rock Island, IL and later his Doctorate of Chiropractic, (D.C.) degree at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.

Engstrom's journey to become a Chiropractor was born out of a family experience. At the age of four, Engstrom's mother woke up and found that she was unable to walk normally. Engstrom's grandparents took her to two different medical doctors who were unable to reach a diagnosis. Unsatisfied, they went to another Doctor, not knowing that the Doctor was a Chiropractor. After a brief exam, the Chiropractor determined that she had somehow misaligned her pelvis and after a quick adjustment, she jumped off the table as if nothing had happened. Thanks to this event, Engstrom's entire family was checked by a Chiropractor regularly. Engstrom always enjoyed the experience at the Chiropractor's office, and remembers thinking as a child that he'd like to be a Chiropractor. After graduating college and exploring his options, a conversation with his uncle sparked his interest in Chiropractic and a week later, Engstrom set on a path to becoming a Chiropractor. He's loved every moment of the journey since.

Ryan Engstrom, D.C. lives by the motto, “It takes 65 muscles to frown and 13 to make a smile. Why work overtime?”- quoting B.J. Palmer.

Through his association with the American Chiropractic Association, Engstrom has been an active advocate for active duty military personnel and veterans' access to Chiropractic care as well as working to ensure a patients' bill of rights for all Americans.

It is Engstrom's mission to help as many families as possible move towards optimal health. In his spare time, Engstrom enjoys a variety of hobbies including writing and recording music, cooking and traveling.
