Need full-time work for full-time pay

I would like DuPage County Board Chairman Dan Cronin to explain to me if county board members are accountable to him then why are so many of them missing or just not going to regular and committee meeting.

Now Mr. Cronin is the person that ran on the platform he was going to make everyone accountable after he got elected. There are at lease seven members that should be told to give back their pay and there are five members that should give back half their pay do to the fact they did not do the job they were hired to do.

I do not know anyone in the private sector that works 80 percent of the time that doesn’t get fired, so why are politicians any different from us regular people? People of DuPage County have to understand that a politician that makes the eight years for full retirement gets 82.5 percent of his base pay, which these eight or nine people are going to receive 82.5 percent of his or her pay for the rest of his or her life for not doing their job.

This is our tax money that every person in the county is complaining about high taxes yet we let the politicians get away with not doing his job. Mr. Cronin if a time clock is needed I believe the taxpayers would be more than happy to pay for this item, because we’ll be money ahead making everyone work a full job.
