‘Best of BG’ fine arts show is Dec. 6

Buffalo Grove High School is proud to present the premiere of its newest creative arts event, “The Best of BG: An Evening of Fine Arts,” at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, in the school’s Miller Theater.

According to Fine & Performing Arts Co-Coordinator Elizabeth Bennett, the talent-saturated program “features wonderful students” and showcases a wide spectrum of fine arts performers, all in one venue.

The students, considered as some of the school’s most talented, were nominated by the Fine Arts staff to showcase their individual strengths. There will be dancers, instrumentalists, vocalists, debaters and actors, visual artists, and more, including soloists and small acts, in the show.

An admission charge of $4; $3 for students; will benefit activities and service project endeavors of the BGHS Student Council, a co-sponsor of the event. Bake sale items will be available during a short intermission, and again after the show.

“This event will really be an enjoyable one for anyone interested in the arts,” said Bennett, “and will probably introduce something new to every audience member.”
