Self-destruction of Cain a tragedy

Herman Cain’s self-destruction is a national tragedy. Only in America could a business maverick without political credentials run for our highest office. He fought through racism and its hurdles to be a CEO. Only in America could he descend as fast as he ascended.

He now cries victim as one who has been “stabbed in the back.” He says “politics is a dirty business.” But so is cheating on your wife. So is womanizing. Cain is no longer electable and should quit right now. It would have been colorful to see black men vie in a race-less race for the White House.
