“We wanted to give kids the magical experience of meeting Santa,” said Erin Morgan, owner of Tony Sacco's Mount Prospect location. “When we heard there weren't plans for him to visit the mall, we thought we would invite and host him here,” said Morgan.

Come and see Santa, and enjoy a great family meal! Remember - every Tuesday and Wednesday are - *KIDS CLUB DAYS* at Tony Sacco's - 1/2 price 8" cheese pizzas all day! Adults can enjoy $4 glass of any of our house wines. Tony Sacco's is located at 182 Randhurst Village Drive at the newly renovated Randhurst Village Mall.

“We also wanted to give back to the community and tie it in with a charitable event. So instead of charging, we are asking people who come to bring donations of non-perishable food items/paper goods, and unwrapped new toys.”

These donations will go toward the Mount Prospect Holiday Assistance Program and Toy Drive. Cash donations will benefit the American Cancer Society.

“We are so grateful to Erin and his team for making our program the beneficiary of this event,” said Nancy Morgan, Director of Human Services for the Village of Mount Prospect. “This year, however, our challenge of providing assistance seems especially great. Donations are significantly down while demand for the programs is up in a big way,” she said.

Fire Chief John Malcolm who assists in coordinating the Toy Drive was also appreciative. “Erin has collection bins out at the restaurant so it serves as an additional drop off location for our efforts. The program really can make a big difference to children and families who don't have the means to celebrate the holidays. We can help make them a little brighter,” he said.

“We use cash donations to provide families with gift cards to purchase perishable foods for their holiday celebrations. Monetary donations are also used to help families with utility bills, rental assistance, mortgage payments, medication and doctor bills,” said Nancy Morgan, Director of Human Services.
