Dollhouse auction to benefit Lambs Farm

You can make holiday wishes come true for a special someone on your holiday list while helping people with developmental disabilities.

Westfield Hawthorn mall in Vernon Hills will display three handcrafted wooden dollhouses in Gap Court. On Thursday, Dec. 1, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., the one-of-a-kind dollhouses will be auctioned to the highest bidders, with all proceeds benefiting Lambs Farm.

While placing bids on the house of their dreams, guests at the free soiree will enjoy complimentary wine and hors d’oeuvres, along with festive musical accompaniment.

“Our community is among the most generous in the greater Chicago area, and we know our shoppers will embrace this opportunity to support Lambs Farm,” said Alysia Gordon, marketing director, Westfield Hawthorn.

“This is a wonderful way to make dreams come true.”

Each dollhouse is unique and was handcrafted by Lambs Farm Quest Program. The retail value on the dollhouses is estimated to be $300 each.
