Don’t be offended by ‘Merry Christmas’

Yes, its getting to be that time of year again; Christmas and New Year. Yes, “Christmas,” not “the holidays” or “the winter festival.” Christmas is Christmas, just like Ramadan is Ramadan and Hanukkah is Hanukkah.

No one tries to change the names of other holidays, so hands off Christmas.

For those of you who don’t observe, don’t be upset if someone wishes you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Take it in the spirit that it was intended; “Peace on Earth and Good Will to All.” Is that offensive?
