Crackdown on parkers in Woodfield disabled spaces

Illinois Secretary of State Jesse White will be cracking down on people abusing the disability parking program at Woodfield Shopping Center on one of the busiest shopping days of the year — Friday, Nov. 25. The fine for parking in disability spaces can be as much as $350. A fine of $500 and a possible license suspension is what violators will face for illegally using a placard or disability license plates to park in an accessible parking space without the authorized holder of the placard or disability license plates present.
