Friendship Village extends its 'In House Schoolhouse'

Due to the overwhelmingly positive response, Friendship Village has extended its In House Schoolhouse program which was introduced earlier this fall. In House Schoolhouse, a series of weekly sessions covering a wide variety of topics, is conducted by residents of Friendship Village with specialized expertise in their respective topic.

The following two sessions have been added to the series.

On Tuesday, Nov. 22 at 10:30 a.m. Judy Marren will present "Social Networking and Its Effect on You and the World."

On Tuesday, Nov. 29 at 10:30 a.m. Ruby Hirakawa will recall her early years in a Japanese internment camp in her presentation entitled "A Life Story: I Remember."

The sessions will be held in Woodfield Room at Friendship Village, 350 W. Schaumburg Road in Schaumburg. In House Schoolhouse sessions are free, and open to the public.
