Let Christmas be celebrated freely

I’ve had it with the bashing of Christmas by a small group who have nothing better to do. Now they’re calling a Christmas tree (not Xmas) a holiday tree. The calendars say Christmas, not Santa Claus day and not snowman day. There is no problem with Hanukkah, Kwanzaa or a Muslim holiday, but come Christmas there are no carols sung in public schools or Nativity scenes set up.

Our country was founded on freedom of religion. Let Christians and people who want to celebrate it alone. If you don’t like it, don’t accept gifts and take money for a free work day and leave the rest of us alone to enjoy the birth of Christ, which is Christmas Day. Get a life.
