Last year: 16-16 overall, 5-7 (fourth) in the Metro Suburban Conference; lost to Marshall 59-20 in the Class 3A Chicago Marine Academy sectional semifinal.

Top players: Taylor Pugliese, sr., G; Dylin Coons, sr., F; Katie Rubright, sr., G; Amanda Weldon, sr., G.

Scouting report: Fenton brings back eight seniors from a team that won a regional last season, but the most intriguing returning players might be junior Sidney Montano and sophomore Alissa Whyte. Both players missed all of last season with ACL injuries Whyte after leading Fenton in scoring in the season opener and their returns should make an already deep team even stronger. "We are very deep," Anderson said. "This is the deepest my team has been in a long, long time."
