A good deed gone bad in Wheeling
I live in a condo complex in Wheeling. I spent a good part of yesterday picking up fliers from Wheeling High School promoting a canned food drive. They were everywhere -- essentially trash.
When I called the school to complain, the woman on the phone shrugged and said, “We dropped off the fliers, whatever happens to them after that isn’t our fault.”
I told her that there has to be a better way to get the word out, and she asked me to come up with a plan! I asked her to have some students come and pick up the trash and she refused.
I can’t stand trash, and now I have to worry about the local high school littering my condo complex. There is enough trash in the world!
