More advocate volunteers needed in Kane County

Kane County Judge Clint Hull presided over the swearing in of 16 new Court Appointed Special Advocate volunteers.

These individuals completed a 40-hour training program in order to be sworn in to represent the best interests of children whose cases are in abuse and neglect court.

CASA Kane County will hold its volunteer information meetings at its office, 100 S. Third St. in Geneva: 1 to 2 p.m. Mondays, Nov. 21, Nov. 28 and Dec. 5; 9 to 10 a.m. Thursdays, Nov. 17, Dec. 1, 8 and 15; and 11 a.m. to noon Fridays, Nov. 18, Dec. 2, 9 and 16.

The informational meetings also will be held at Graham's 318, 318 S. Third St., upstairs room, Geneva from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesdays, Nov. 28 and Dec. 6.

Training will begin again in January.
