Barrington HS has 25 Commended students

The board of education and Barrington High School recognizes 25 Commended students in the 2012 National Merit Scholar competition. A student is Commended when he or she scores highly enough to be among the top 50,000 of more than 1.5 million students who entered the 2012 National Merit Program by taking the PSAT exam.

The recipients this year at Barrington High School are Sarah Altshuler, Abhinaya Alwar, Alexander Aspell, Jonathan Barsness, Madeleine Biagioli, Courtney Bolton, David Butler, Rishi Chatterji, Emily Claps, Sarah Dombek, Ronald Gierlach, John Harley, Chloe Holzman, Paul Lederer, Anna Lopresti, Dennis McNamara, Henry Mitchell, Phillip Nielsen, Justin Penrod, Max Redpath, Chris Towne, Katherine Vlk, Samana Walji, Henry Wilson and Gail Yang.
