New library branch opening Monday in Hoffman Estates

The new North Hoffman Branch of the Palatine Public Library District will open at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 7, at the Willow Recreation Center, 3600 Lexington Drive, Hoffman Estates. The library district was forced to close its Freeman Road Branch after the building went into foreclosure. The new branch, located in a Hoffman Estates Park District facility, will include similar materials, computers, programs and a walk-up book drop at the front of the building. Hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays. The branch is closed Sundays. For more information, visit palatinelibrary.org.
