Elburn girl to compete for Miss Illinois Teen

Madeline Cole, 16, of Elburn will compete for the title of Miss Illinois Teen USA 2012 on Nov. 18-20 at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place in Chicago.
She is the daughter of Scott and Kimberly Cole. A junior this year at Kaneland High School, her hobbies include learning Spanish, photography, drawing, international travel and sewing. She is a member of the United States Achievement Academy, and the National Art Honor Society. She is a member of the Lord of Life Church in LaFox.
The Miss Illinois Teen USA and Miss Illinois USA pageants are the official preliminaries to the Miss Teen USA, Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants, which are a Donald J. Trump and NBC Universal joint venture. The young woman chosen as Miss Illinois Teen USA 2012 will go on to represent the state of Illinois in the national 2012 Miss Teen USA pageant and spend her year as a teen ambassador.
