Benedictine holiday bazaar brings vendors to shoppers

Tired of waiting until the last minute to do your holiday shopping? Sick of fighting the crowds at the malls?

Shoppers can avoid the last-minute rush at the Holiday Shopping Bazaar.

Benedictine University’s College of Business, Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management Alumni Club Chicago-West and the University of Michigan Ross School of Business Alumni Club will sponsor a Holiday Shopping Bazaar from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, at the Krasa Student Center on the campus of Benedictine University, 5700 College Road, Lisle.

Alumni of Benedictine, Northwestern, Michigan and the public are invited to attend, connect with other alumni and shop the wares of more than 30 vendors including The Pampered Chef, Carlson’s Cookies, Stella and Dot Jewelry, Holm Audio, MyGirlz Hair Accessories, Nuage Jewelers and Auditorium Theatre.

Event sponsors offering information, wares, services and goodies include Eddie Z’s Blinds, Maduro Photography, BMO Harris Bank and Cole Taylor Bank.

The event features drawings for door prizes and activities for the kids, including the chance to take a photo with Santa. Professional family photos will be available for $10. The event is free. A portion of the proceeds benefits the Loaves and Fishes Community Pantry in Naperville, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Aurora, and Bridge Communities, which serves the homeless of DuPage County.
