Chiro One Wellness Centers to hold food drive

With Thanksgiving approaching, Chiro One Wellness Centers are joining the fight against hunger by hosting their sixth annual “Share the Abundance” food drive.

Nonperishable food items are being collected through Nov. 16 to be given to Feeding Illinois. Area residents can assist by donating items such as peanut butter, tuna and other nonperishable food items at a Chiro One near you.

“Last year, we collected over 20,000 pounds of food, and this year we want to increase that number to 25,000 pounds,” said Cynthia Barron, director of community outreach, Chiro One Wellness Centers.

“We are asking the public to help us help others by bringing in a nonperishable food items in November.”
