Wheeling’s literary magazine holds fundraiser

Wheeling High School’s literary magazine, Circus, will host its 5th annual fundraiser Saturday, Nov. 12, at Barnes & Noble, Rand and Arlington Heights Roads, Arlington Heights.

Barnes & Noble will contribute a percentage of every sale made with a special book fair voucher to Circus. Vouchers will be available online at whs.d214.org. If shoppers use the book fair number (at the bottom of the voucher: 10458610) at any Barnes & Noble location or online at barnesandnoble.com, a percentage of the proceeds will still to go Circus.

Circus showcases WHS student poetry, prose, and art. In an effort to raise funds to continue printing a free copy for every student at Wheeling, to print more art pages in color, and possibly even to create a CD of original student music and spoken-word, Circus is working together with Barnes & Noble booksellers to sponsor this event.
