Hanover Twp. seeks residents to serve on mental health board
Hanover Township supervisor Brian P. McGuire is accepting applications for residents interested in serving on the township’s mental health board. The volunteer board advocates for increasing the availability and quality of mental health services by allocating funds to agencies that provides services to residents with mental health illnesses, developmental disabilities or addictions. Last year, the board approved over $1 million in funds to agencies.
“This is a great opportunity for residents looking to serve their community,” said supervisor Brian P. McGuire. “Residents with all types of backgrounds are encouraged to apply.”
Upon completion of the application, residents will be contacted for an interview. Selected applicants will be presented to the township board for approval to serve.
The board meets the fourth Tuesday of the month, at 6:30 p.m., at the township offices, 250 S. Route 59, in Bartlett.
Applications may be found and submitted online at www.hanover-township.org or by visiting the Township offices at 250 S. Route 59 in Bartlett.
