Benefit for canine rescue:
The annual holiday shopping party to benefit Our House of Hope K-9 Rescue will be Sunday Nov. 6, at Adler Park — Bob Davis Lodge (behind the pool), 1500 Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville. Early bird shoppers can start from 2 to 3 p.m. for a $5 donation. The doors will be open to everyone at no charge from 3 to 6 p.m. Local artisans, book authors and many one-of-a-kind handmade items will be available, with a percentage of all proceeds benefiting the medical fund at Our House Of Hope.
