Roosevelt event showcases the ‘green economy’

The Green Economy Action Road Show will be at Roosevelt University in Schaumburg Friday and Saturday, Nov. 4-5.

The two-day conference and expo offers businesses and citizens an opportunity to learn more about the green economy in their community, and includes energy efficiency, alternative energy and transportation, residential and commercial green building technologies, green cleaning and more through workshops and exhibit booths.

Both days will feature an expo with more than 30 green businesses and organizations.

Registration for the Friday business conference and expo is $39 online, $59 at the door. The Saturday consumer event is free.
