Two restaurants, for opposite tastes, coming to Schaumburg

Two more new restaurants — quite the opposite of each other — are on their way to Schaumburg.

Salad Works will be moving into Unit 170 of the Streets of Woodfield shopping center at 601 N. Martingale Road, while BBQ King will set up shop in the Golfview Center at 829 W. Higgins Road.

Even more new eateries are being proposed in the village right now, and the restaurant market definitely appears to be over the slump it experienced in 2008 and 2009, Schaumburg Community Development Director Julie Fitzgerald said.
