Eating out: IHOP treats kids to free pancake

Scary pancakes

Don't be afraid of the International House of Pancakes' Halloween treat: a free Count Spatula scary face pancake for kids 12 and younger. Stop by the nearest IHOP between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28, to receive the free eats. Other fall specialties include pumpkin pancakes and all-you-can-eat buttermilk pancakes starting at $4.99.

Super Fan Challenge

Timothy O'Toole's double dog dares you to the Super Fan Challenge. On Bears game days, order a half slab of baby back ribs, 10 extra spicy chicken wings, a Polish sausage sandwich, an Italian beef sandwich, 2 pounds of french fries and a 23-ounce “jumbo” Miller Lite for $29.99 per platter. Finish it all in 30 minutes and keep the beer stein.

Treat the littlest tricksters to a free meal at Jerseys Pizza and Grill on Halloween. Kids who come in costume eat free all day with the purchase of an adult entree. Children can enjoy complimentary candy and treats while parents enjoy $10 buckets of Miller Lite, MGD, Coors and Coors Light.
