Fan runs onto field during Bears-Bucs game

WEMBLEY, England — Tampa Bay and Chicago came to London to show off the American version of football. One fan gave them a sample of a tradition that's more common in the European game.

A male fan ran onto the field at Wembley on Sunday during the fourth quarter of the Bears' game against the Bucs when Tampa Bay was getting ready for a kickoff. The man promptly took his shirt off and ran the length of the field and back while players looked on in surprise. He even had time to give a high-five to Tampa Bay safety Sean Jones and Bears cornerback Corey Graham before being stopped by security officials.

Such field invasions are common at high-profile soccer games in Europe and other parts of the world. One fan managed to run onto the field at Soccer City before last year's World Cup final in South Africa.

Chicago won the game 24-18.
