Government should get out of the way

Jobs are not created; they are necessitated. They come about because something needs to be done, and there is someone who is willing to do it, and someone who is willing to pay for it.

For over 40 years I owned a business. I hired someone when I had work that needed to be done and I had a customer that was willing to pay for it. Private companies will not hire until there are buyers.

Only government can create work where there is no job and then pay for it with money they don’t have. How does the government’s job creation programs fit into this picture? Americans are very enterprising. We don’t need the government to lead or to follow, just to get out of the way.
