Don’t punish those who succeed
Don’t punish those who succeed
Punishing any group of citizens to compensate for a lack of control in spending by government is treason. If any group should be punished or taxed, begin with those who voted for the spending bills that resulted in the massive debt of our nation, or those who voted to change the rules for lending that resulted in the collapse of the housing industry.
This group should be the first to forfeit their post, pension, and should be banned from ever serving office or appointment, as they’ve shown they can’t be trusted. No house was ever made right by spending money that wasn’t there, so begin by punishing those who voted in favor, and those who benefited by association, as they have betrayed their fellow citizen. Don’t punish/tax who that succeeded despite it.
