What to watch: The Avs are 5-1 thanks to a five-game winning streak accomplished on the road at Boston, Columbus, Ottawa, Montreal and Toronto. Corey Crawford starts in goal for the Hawks, Semyon Varlamov for Colorado. Avs forward Peter Mueller won’t play because of a concussion.

Season series: First meeting. The Hawks were 1-2-1 vs. the Avs in 2010-11.
