YMCA hires two execs:

The Lake County Family YMCA recently hired Diane M. Aidem as vice president of development and Jim Malecha as director of finance. A Vernon Hills resident, Aidem has more than 10 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising and most recently served as director of development, marketing and communications for the YWCA of Lake County. Malecha, of Libertyville, served the past two years as treasurer and director of MainStreet Libertyville. He also has owned and managed a bed and breakfast and has 20 years of banking experience. Founded in 1892 as a nonprofit, the Lake County Family YMCA is comprised of the Central Lake YMCA in Vernon Hills, Northern Lake YMCA in Waukegan and Early Head Start in Waukegan.
