It’s people who make St. Charles great

If anyone were to ask me what the best town in the country is, there is no hesitation that I would say St. Charles. The quaint atmosphere, beautiful living space and, most notably, the fantastic people are all fine qualities of our town.

The way the community comes come together over a special event is always something I admire. St. Charles East’s homecoming this year was definitely one such event. Because of this, some much-needed thanks are due. Without the help of our community, homecoming, specific to the junior class, would not have been such a success.

A special thanks goes out Al Piemonte Chrysler-Jeep-Ram dealership for offering their property, and friendly staff to the junior class for our float assembly. In addition, the entire Palmisano family deserves a great thanks. Your considerate gift of time and talent is greatly appreciated.

The Lois family, owners of the Copper Fox Café, generously donated their windows to the talented hands the junior class.

Principal Charlie Kyle and Assistant Principal to Student Activates Bob Abraham also deserve a very special thanks. They were extremely helpful and supportive throughout the entire process, and we appreciate that immensely. And finally to Patty Van Lehn and Nicole Johnson: the guidance and kindness you extended to us was nicer than anything we could have asked from you.

The individuals and businesses who put their energy toward Homecoming 2011 are what make this town so special. Because of you, homecoming was a success.
