Man robs bank inside Wheaton grocery store

The FBI has released surveillance photos of a man they say robbed a Wheaton bank Tuesday afternoon.

A man with a hoodie over his head robbed the TCF Bank inside the Jewel-Osco, 2031 N. Main St., at 2:22 p.m. Tuesday and left with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to authorities.

Authorities said the man walked up to a teller at the bank and handed over a handwritten note requesting cash. The tell complied, authorities said, and fled out the west entrance to the parking lot.

The man is described as white, standing about 6-feet tall, with a mustache and patch of hair under his bottom lip, and also a band aid under his right eye.

The man did not show a weapon during the robbery.
