One-acts dominate Prospect HS stage

Prospect High School’s Drama Department will present a one-act play festival, “UNO — PART DEUX,” Wednesday through Saturday, Oct. 19-22, at 7 p.m. in the PHS Theater.

Twenty-one plays will be performed in the two separate shows, A and B, ranging from comedy, drama, interpretations and even a dance-like piece. Performances are both directed by staff members and students. Show A is on Wednesday and Friday; Show B, Thursday and Saturday.

More than 60 students are involved in the production, including the following students who serve as directors: juniors Sean Brennan, Chloe Chidester, Olivia Churchill, Lauren Kinser, Patrick Pfohl and Shannon Kobler; and seniors Danielle Keeton-Olsen and Walker Brewer.

Faculty directors include Jeremy Morton, Scott McDermott, Stephen Colella and John Meyers.

Matt Erbach is the technical director, costumes are coordinated by Pat Doyle and the house manager is Sandra Ghilarducci.

Admission is $5 for one performance; a discounted price of $7 secures a ticket for both shows. For tickets or more information, email sandy.ghilarduc@d214.org or call (847) 718-5365.
