W. Chicago youth to help seniors with leaf pickup

West Chicago, Illinois: October 10, 2011 - Senior citizens of West Chicago unable to tackle the task of raking the leaves in their yards may find assistance from West Chicago Youth, a program coordinated through the West Chicago Police Department. The program has a great history of success, and is a welcome help to those unable to manage the yard work themselves.

Kevin Holguin, the youth program coordinator, has announced that this year's event will take place on Saturday, November 5, 2011.

According to Holguin, response has been terrific from volunteer groups wishing to help with this service project, and he is now looking to get the word out to residents who need the help.
