White Sox just gave up

Yes, the White Sox season is finally over. No more will I and other White Sox fans have to endure something as frustrating as this 2011 season. This team was “purchased” and put together to win it all. According to some of the players, Ozzie Guillen was a great manager. So why did this dream team, with a great manager, finally end up 16 games behind Detroit. If Ozzie was considered such a great manager, then I have to conclude that the players are at fault. They must have just given up and decided that they are going to get paid no matter where they ended up in the standings. What a shameful bunch of immature, inconsiderate millionaires. Ozzie stated that the only thing he coveted was the money. He didn’t care about rings and championships, only the money. We thought that Kenny Williams was duped when he signed Adam Dunn, Alex Rios and Jake Peavy. I think he got duped even more when he signed Ozzie as the manager. Perhaps next year with a new coaching staff in place, the 2012 season will not be such a disappointment. I hope not. I’m getting sick and tired of paying higher prices for tickets, food, etc. because I have to help offset these ridiculous salaries of subpar players who just want their paychecks and want go home for the winter. Wait’ll next year! (I hope.)
