Hanover Twp. hosts tax appeal seminar Oct. 12

Hanover Township Assessor Thomas Smogolski and Cook County Commissioner Timothy Schneider will co-sponsor a tax appeal seminar at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12 at the township Senior Center, 240 S. Route 59, Bartlett.

Staff from Cook County Assessor Joe Berrios’ office will be available to answer questions and accept property tax appeals. Residents are asked to bring their real estate tax bill. Hanover Township will accept appeals until the first week of November.
