PHS ‘haunted high school’ Oct. 27

Prospect High School’s Student Council, with the help of clubs and sports teams, will sponsor its annual “Not So Scary” Haunted High School, a safe Halloween alternative event for young children, on Thursday, Oct. 27, from 4-6 p.m.

The event will be held at PHS, 801 W. Kensington Road in Mount Prospect, and is open to area kids, preschool through 5th grade. Participants should enter through the building’s door #30.

Children should arrive in costume and be ready to collect candy and treats, play fun games, and join in a variety of entertaining Halloween activities.

Attendees must be accompanied by parents. Admission to the event is a donation of nonperishable/canned food for the local food pantry. Call (847) 718-5200 during school hours for more information.
