Joe Walsh keeps his word

Recently a letter to your column from a Ms. Gross states Joe Walsh is a disgrace to Congress because he won’t attend a speech from Barack Obama, saying it’s his job to do so. It is not Joe Walsh’s job to listen to speeches from the president. It is his job to listen to the people who sent him to Washington, which he does. Also Ms. Gross had the nerve to say or ask did tea party representatives ever hear of the word “compromise?” The first two years Obama was in office, when the Democrats controlled all three branches of our government, the word compromise was never mentioned once. Ms. Gross further states that she feels “cheated” by paying Joe Walsh’s salary. Well, my dear, I feel cheated paying Obama’s salary every time he tells a big fat lie, which he does on a regular basis. It’s people like you who put our country into the financial crisis it’s in. God bless Joe Walsh, a man who keeps his word.
