Mt. Prospect offers circuit breaker, ILCaresRX help

The Village of Mount Prospect Human Services Department can assist residents with the application process for The state of Illinois’ Circuit Breaker & IL CaresRx Program. The program can assist people 65 years of age and older or disabled individuals with prescription drugs, a small grant and a $75 discount on their license plate. Each individual must be a resident living in Illinois, over 65 years of age or disabled, and be under a certain income determined by household size. The deadline for filing the application for these benefits is Dec. 31. If you are interested or have not applied yet this year, call the Human Services Department at 847/870-5680, for assistance and/or the application. You must file each year!
